with AI that amplifies human expertise
Well, that's the point. The moment AI's output must be fixed, which seems to be always the case, it creates additional work. Now multiply this with each development phase and you are in shit till the neck. Development time was decreasing since some good years while complexity increased. The current crisis is also related to this fact.
New projects need a Jira engineer, just to sort the mess of PRs and CRs. Adding AI only made the problem worse.
